Former chief of the Federal Electoral Institute comments on the status of the Mexican electoral process with Ana Maria Salazar

Luis Carlos Ugalde talks about his new book “Fortalezas y Debilidades del Sistema Electoral Mexicano” - Strengths and Weaknesses of the Mexican Electoral System, published by the electoral Tribunal and Integralia. Also talked about what is happening with the Citizens Front composed of the PAN, PRD and Citizen Movement, who are about to get together and select one candidate who can stand against Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador and Jose Antonio Meade. Members of the PRD just nominated the Mayor of Mexico City, Miguel Angel Mancera. The deadline for the front to form the coalition and nominate a candidate is next week, on December 14th.
